Training Center (VCOM)

Vineyard College of Mission (VCOM) is a training agency to equip the church to do the ministry of Isaiah 61, fulfilling this commission to care for the broken, the oppressed, the captive and the extreme poor under the promised anointing of the Holy Spirit. VCOM is an organized effort to train and send authentic disciples to those Jesus referred to as “the least of these.” We are currently offering four schools impacting these areas of crisis: School of Biblical Action, Women and Children in Crisis, Mission Medics, and School of Biblical Studies (online).  To find out more about these schools go to VCOM website click here.

School of Biblical Action (SOBA)

School of Biblical Action (SOBA) is Vineyard Boise’s first year program within its College of Mission (VCOM). SOBA is not just another Bible school. It’s a path of biblical discipleship that takes students inductively through every book in the New Testament, teaching them how to read and apply the Word for themselves. In addition, SOBA offers students the opportunity to work closely with leaders within Vineyard Boise, to experience a ten day national outreach in the US or Canada, a one month international outreach, to participate in community service projects, weekend retreats in the Idaho wilderness, and much more. School page click here.

Mission Medics (MM)

The Mission Medic program prepares people who have a heart for God to witness for Chris while providing medical care for individuals and communities in need. Mission Medic students learn a wide range of medical skills and are taught to provide God-centered, holistic healing (physical, spiritual, and emotional). The eight-month course includes emergency certification (EMT or OEC) and a 2-4 week international outreach. Classes are taught in the evening and no previous medical training is necessary. School page click here.

Love Justice School (LJS)

Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows. We train the student to think through the issues relating to women & children in crisis from a holistic worldview. This will include the role of the individual, family, local community, local church, education, media, government/law/politics, science and technology, arts and entertainment, business/commerce, and the Kingdom of God, as it relates to each issue. School page click here.

The School of Biblical Studies (SBS)

The School of Biblical Studies (SBS) seeks to equip believers to learn, live, and give God’s transforming truth.  Come be where academics and life change collide and let God plant seeds of truth in your heart. The entire SBS course is online so that students can have the freedom to study where and when, works best for them. Upon completion of the course students will have done a deep exegetical study through every book in the bible, leaving them with a solid overview of the entire Bible and lasting tools for a lifetime of study. School page click here.
