It is a great way to serve while getting to know people in the Vineyard Boise community.
This team of greeters and ushers really do make the invisible God visible by loving him and loving people. They are friendly, helpful, and just seem to have a natural gift at making people feel like they are home.
Ushers and greeters are a vital part of every Sunday service. They greet and welcome every single person who attends church, welcoming them and making sure they have a place to worship and listen to the teaching. This team also serves at various church events throughout the year, graciously contributing their gift of hospitality.
Interested in making the Invisible God visible by volunteering as an usher or greeter?

Actually, all it takes is the availability to serve one full Sunday a month. Our ushers and greeters are part of a team that prays together, and then serves at assigned locations throughout the church with a friendly and helpful attitude before each service and during the pass through times.
It is as simple as contacting Tempe McFarlane, our Usher & Greeter Coordinator. She will give you simple instructions, put you on the monthly schedule, and make sure you have that snazzy Greeter shirt that everyone loves and notices! She will also encourage you to consider going through our Vineyard 101 class so you have a better understanding of our church, and the important role that this team plays in welcoming and loving people.
