Over the past 25+ years, Vineyard Boise has grown to become a diverse church with an emphasis on local and global outreach. Vineyard Boise is located on a 20 acre campus on North Bradley Street in Garden City, Idaho.
Tri Robinson and his wife, Nancy, planted the Vineyard Boise church in 1989. For 23 years, they served faithfully as the Lead Pastors, challenging the church to love the world in radical and real ways, to be authentic disciples of Jesus, not only in word but in deed. In 2012, Tri and Nancy transitioned out of the Lead Pastoral role, and raised up new leaders in Trevor and Andrea Estes for Vineyard Boise’s next generation.
...that will receive ministry from the Lord (through His saving grace, forgiveness, healing and unconditional love and through the revelation of His Bible and by the Holy Spirit); minister to the Lord (be uninhibited in worship, devoted in prayer, generous in giving and in service); and minister with the Lord – proclaiming His words and doing His works.
Jesus lover. Born and raised in Boise, Trevor joined the Vineyard shortly after it was planted in 1989. After spending several years back and forth in missions – attending as well as teaching Biblical Studies in YWAM schools in SE Asia – Trevor and his wife Andrea returned to Boise, and joined Vineyard Boise’s staff in 1999 serving as youth pastors for several years. In 2012, Pastor Trevor completed a seven year transition with Pastor Tri to become the Lead Pastor of Vineyard Boise.
Michael set his heart on bringing solid, biblical higher education into a dynamic local church setting when he first came on staff as the Director of VCOM – Vineyard College of Mission in 2006. Since then Michael’s passions, education, and gifts have converged as he now serves the Church as the Executive Pastor.
Husband to his beautiful wife Larissa, father of four amazing children and an unabashed shedder of tears who desires to see people encounter the Living God in authentic, spirit-filled, whole-hearted, whole-life worship. Jesse and Larissa have been at Vineyard Boise since 2003 when they both encountered God in a powerful way through the ministries and people of this church. That's why it was so hard for them to leave Vineyard Boise in 2010 when God called them to worship ministry in Portland, Oregon. However, God still had plans for them here and five years later in 2015 they were overjoyed to return to Vineyard Boise when Jesse came on staff as our worship pastor. Now bring on that next move of God in our midst!
Mike and his wife LaWayne have found home within the Vineyard Boise community for over a decade. From the vantage point of the campus bookstore that he oversees, Mike pours out his heart to empower the church to experience the life-changing dynamics of face-to-face small group life, writes the weekly materials for individual and group devotions, as well as helping to provide a platform of classes for ongoing education within Vineyard Boise.
For years Ranger Bud led our children in the Rockin’ V Ranch children’s ministry with his Wild West Show. Children who once sat at his feet --now grown and with their own children -- still sing his songs and remember his lessons. Bud Reberry was away for a spell serving God in other pastures and planting a church, but now he has returned to his true life calling: to be a pastor of the children of the Vineyard Boise community as Ranger Bud with his Rescue Rangers on Mount Adventure. Ranger Bud is singing new songs, and sharing God’s heart with a whole new generation – leading our entire community to say one thing: “Yee-haw!”
Even though Terra has traveled to many cultures, she found her tribe when she found the Vineyard. Terra recently took the helm of i-61 Ministries, a local and international ministry that serves the larger Vineyard Movement in areas of justice and compassion. i-61 shows the love of Christ to the broken, desolate and downtrodden in real, practical ways (Isaiah 61:1- 4).
Jeremiah and his wife Kara have 3 amazing kids (Emberlin, Lovelin and Valor) and are passionate about seeing people become authentic disciples of Jesus. They moved to Boise from Nashville, TN where Jeremiah was focusing full-time on his music career as the lead singer of the band The Neverclaim. Before they moved to Nashville in 2013, he was the youth/young adult pastor at the Vancouver Vineyard Church in Vancouver, WA for 10 years as well as the Vineyard Movements NW Youth Task Force Director for 6 years. He and Kara also both started a nationally known conference ministry "Cultivation Generation" and have joined the Vineyard Boise staff as the Young Adult Pastor feeling called by God to begin to cultivate and contend for the hearts of young people.
Amber first came to Vineyard Boise as a college student in 1997 and returned with her husband and family in 2008. In an unplanned, but very God-directed journey, Amber joined the staff in 2015. Amber graduated magna cum laude from Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology and is currently enrolled in a 2-year program in Spiritual Formation. Amber is currently one of our key pastors on staff, equipping the rest of the pastoral staff in fulfilling our pastoral vocation through our own spiritual formation and personal growth. She also oversees Vineyard Women (and more!) and does her share of pastoral counseling for both individuals and couples.
Kevin and his wife Ginny, previously senior pastors within the Vineyard movement, have become vital, longstanding members of the Vineyard Boise fellowship. They have quietly and passionately given themselves to the word of God and prayer, empowering ordinary people to “do the stuff”: to be practitioners of the words and works of Jesus as they embrace a lifestyle of “walkin’ in the kingdom.”
